Episode 1: “As Long As It Hurts”
Picking up from the “Nyne Myles From Home Too” cliffhanger: Chris gets a call from Justine and later confesses his feelings for her after his sister finds out about their past trysts. Myles and Nyne pursue purchasing land in Calabasas for a vacation home/studio; Chris decides against it insisting he wants a longer break from music. Celeste and Chris have a heart to heart about Chris’ future in the industry. Tanae makes a proposition to Myles that may bring the progress of the studio purchase together. Chris finally reveals his anger to his father for his past neglection and the loss of his mother, creating a divide between him, his father, and his sister. Chris decides to never speak to them again. Brick gives Chris an offer to produce a high profile artists album, Chris considers.
Episode 2: “To Be A Father”
After a scare with CJ; Chris begins to doubt returning to the industry as an artist, holing himself at home and keeping a close eye on his son. Myles makes heavy effort to break Chris out of his funk and back into viewing artists for the label before Mansell holds a meeting and parts ways with them both as A&Rs. Nyne rebels against his mother’s wishes to once again go into production and flees to Atlanta to “live freely” under his father’s watch; the journey doesn’t go as he expects. Tanae confesses her affection for Myles, Myles realizes he has decisions to make before taking her seriously. Celeste throws a family gathering to cater to Chris’ nervousness with taking an eye off of CJ; during the gathering Sanchez gives Chris life advice on what it is to be a father.
Episode 3: “The Birds”
Myles convinces Chris to travel to Arizona to partake in an investment venture with an ostrich farm. Chris and Myles enjoy themselves on the farm and take the advice of the millionaires they’re surrounded by. Raven returns to California seeking out Mansell, after consulting with him she convinces him to keep Chris on as an A&R. Raven later seeks out Silver in hopes to convince her to persuade Chris to return to music. Celeste meets Raven for the first time; the two share a brunch discussing the past and promising one another to become an alliance assisting the team in becoming a label within itself.
Episode 4: “If These Walls Could Talk”
On their pitstop back home: Myles shows Chris land in Houston, Texas that he’s planning on buying in order to build a studio. Chris decides to expedite the process. Nyne begins production on Silver’s new project; her only request is to have Chris be a part of it, Nyne readies himself for a convincing speech to bring Chris back to the studio. Nyne seeks out Hunter in order to have a strong enough argument in bringing Chris back to fulfill his label contract. Tanae makes a discovery about herself and faces a dilemma in telling Myles. Chris begins discussing taking a hand in the politics surrounding Los Angeles’ homelessness problem.
Episode 5: “Calabasas”
Chris and Celeste move and settle into their home in the hills, Silver throws them a housewarming party in which Chris takes the advantage in speaking with numerous minor politicians and investors on his mission to assist in taking the homeless off the streets of Los Angeles. Brick later warns Chris on the steps it takes to make a difference in poverty, especially when dealing with politicians as an artist. Silver has a heart to heart with Chris about her latest projects and asks Chris to be a part of her next movement; Chris agrees only if they keep things non-sexual and on a friend basis for good, Silver reluctantly accepts. Celeste and her family prepare for her business grand opening; Chris tells her he’s returning to producing, she considers he finishes his contract in order to move forward with his political ventures and other dreams. Chris considers as the two prep for the grand opening. Nyne and Myles agree to return to producing alongside Chris; Hunter warns them that their division is under a new watchful eye and won’t allow the behavior the crew’s displayed in the past, Myles challenges the warning.
Episode 6 [SOLO EPISODE]: “Myles in Manhattan”
Myles takes a trip to Manhattan to take his mind off of Tanae’s news and to think over his latest business investment. He spends time with Queen Drahmuh, taking life advice as he dodges his family members and ex friends seeking benefits from his hard work. Chris pays Myles a visit in the Manhattan AirBnB and finally tells him the story of Justine. After Chris’ story; Myles decides what’s best for him and Tanae as he travels to Houston with Chris to begin the blueprints for their studio.
Episode 7: “Kingdom of Drahmuh”
Queen Drahmuh throws an investment party at her home in Dallas, bringing out numerous celebrities and investors for Chris and Myles to talk to. As a modest gesture; Silver donates to Celeste’s business, Celeste and Silver sit and have their heart to heart for the first time. Celeste makes it clear she’s in love with Chris and doesn’t want anyone in the way of them. Nyne travels to Atlanta in order to convince Raven to join his team in getting Chris back in the studio as an artist and not a producer, Raven agrees to return as Chris’ publicist if they manage to convince Chris to finish his contract with the label.
Episode 8: “Christian Smalls Vs. The People”
Hunter begins searching for investors for Silver’s new album while Silver promotes her first novel in New York. Chris pays Silver a visit in New York for her book release; the two enjoy Manhattan and discuss what she and Celeste talked about in Calabasas. Hunter’s investors insist they only want to invest in Silver if Chris returns to finish his contract, Hunter gathers Raven, Nyne, and Myles in order to finally sit and have the talk with Chris. Hayley returns to California to announce to the team that she’s working on a new album and would like Chris involved; making matters a bit more muddier with Chris agreeing to the project. Settling back in Calabasas; Chris and Celeste have a heart to heart about what his next moves in the industry should be.
Episode 9: “The Boys Are Back in Town”
Chris, Nyne, Myles, Silver, Hunter, Raven, and Hayley return to Warner as a crew; Chris announces he’s started the rough draft of a new project and has agreed to do a project with Silver and Hayley. The guys meet the new division leader and make it their duty to give her the hardest time she’s ever had at the label. Myles and Tanae have an outing, the two discuss their futures and what’s best for one another due to the studio opening, Chris returning, and his job as an A&R being reinstated. Raven begins her divorce process with the assistance of Chris and Myles. Chris officially gives Myles the title of head producer over the label and sends him on a mission to find new beat makers for the upcoming project. Nyne cancels his previous commitments (including school commitments) causing his mother to pay a visit to Calabasas to see what’s going on. Celeste’s business is compromised by an ex with the same formula of business; Chris and Nyne take it into their own hands to sabotage their rivals at all costs.
Episode 10: SEASON FINALE: “Little Boot”
After a handful of new recording sessions; Chris and the crew deliver a rough draft of his new singles for the label. Tori immediately tosses Chris’ new songs aside, demanding the crew produce more society appropriate music. Nyne and Myles proceed to give Tori a living nightmare for her rejection of their work. Tori gathers as many label members as she possibly can in order to push Chris back under the table. Raven seeks out Hunter to return to Warner one last time to assist in putting in a good word for Chris. In attempts to get an album greenlit; Tori assures Chris that the next project would be his last with the label; the label responds by respectively nominating Chris for a Label Achievement Award, Tori strengthens her rebellion. Tanae pays a visit to the Label on her own mission to seek out the label members siding with Tori. On a drunken date night to get away from the label war: Celeste reveals to Chris that she wants to be a producer on his upcoming album, Chris takes the information to Hunter, Hunter disagrees with the decision. Chris, Hunter, Myles, Nyne, Raven, Tanae, Silver, Hayley, Queen Drahmuh, Brick, and Mansell take on Tori and the label’s rebellion in one last stand to get Chris’ last album approved, his nomination solid, and the crew their own possession of what happens next with their movement as a team. After hearing Celeste’s production blueprints; Hunter changes his mind about her involvement on the album. As the smoke from the label war clears; Chris announces the name of his final project with the label.
